Roger ThomasGURNEYPassed away peacefully at Dove House Hospice on the 9th July 2025 surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Adored brother of Lizzie and Michael Farrah and Michael's partner Derek (lived ex Balfour Street), dear cousin of Glen, Tracy and niece Sophie, cousins Jill, Jim, Stephen and Julie, and Roger's best friend of over 50 years Robert Mouncer.

Funeral to be held on Wednesday 13th August at Bodmin Road Church at 10:30am followed by committal at Chanterlands Crematorium small Chapel at Noon.

Please come as you are, formal attire not necessary.

Rogers family would like to invite attendee's back to Bodmin Church to celebrate his life after the committal.

Donations can be left to Dove House Hospice after the service to thank them for their care of Roger.

Roger what can l say. You meant the world to me. Although most of your life you suffered illness. You never complained. But you got some illness free years were you travelled with friend Bob. It was so good to see you enjoy yourself. I miss you Rog l miss your amazing sense of humour. We did loads together mainly you me and our Liz. We all have so so many memories of you. All thè pictures you took over the years put on to D.V.D's will carry us through Rog. Love you big brother. So glad you found your faith and what a beautiful Church and friends too. See you later Rog. Youngest brother Michael and Derek.

Roger you have left a big hole in our lives. I held your hand and told you how much we love you. Then you gently slipped away. No more Pain. With mam and dad and Barbara. From a child you took me and our Michael everywhere you had such a gentle nature. Always kind. A beautiful Soul. I am so glad you you found your faith agai in the last 5 years. All at Bodmin Road Church your Church friends took you into thier hearts. I am so glad we were such a close family. I thank you my brother for being there continually since l had my illness after my Michael passed away. You really looked after me in everyway. Bless your heart. You were so clever in many ways with your Photography Computing and what l loved most of all. Your Value's. You were always there for the under dog in life. The Oppressed. You have a good heart brother. I will miss you so much Roger. But because of our faith. I know where you are. Look after Mam n Dad and Barbara and my Michael. Tell him. Lizzie and Michael, so sorry for the loss of your dear brother. Rest in peace Roger you will be sadly missed by your family and life long friends. Reunited with loved ones.
